General questions
What is Noor Path?
A technology that makes places speak through Smart Tags and an app that reads information aloud.
Who can benefit from Noor Path?
Blind and visually impaired people first, and anyone who benefits from audio information.
What sets Noor Path apart from traditional solutions?
The Noor Path app reads information aloud from tags made for the app to recognise and read directly — not just a QR code.
- Tags are placed with no demolition or structural changes.
- A tag's number stays the same even when what it points to changes.
- The information changes in the dashboard, without reprinting the tag.
What is NoorTag technology and how does it work?
A NoorTag is a printed code the Noor Path app recognises with the camera. Each tag carries a permanent number that the dashboard links to a place, a product, a menu or a household item. The user points the camera at the tag and the app reads its information aloud.
What is the Home Kit and how do I get it?
Tags that turn the spaces and everyday belongings in your home into information that is easy to access; you name and describe each tag yourself in the app. The kit is free for beneficiaries: fill in the request form on the Home Kit page and we will contact you soon.
Where was Noor Path developed?
Noor Path is a Saudi technology, developed together with its users.
